Finca La Laja is located in the mountainous region of Tlaltetela, Veracruz, one of our favorite regions due to its rich biodiversity and warm-humid climate. Specialty coffee thrives under these ideal conditions, and the shade grown Caturra and Gárnica varieties grown here are no exception. The volcanic soils and high altitude contribute to this coffee’s complexity, and careful washed, semi-washed, honey, and natural processing methods enhance its unique cup profile. Sustainable farming and quality-driven production ensure each harvest reflects the region’s rich coffee-growing tradition.
