The Pumpkin Old-Fashioned

As the days grow cooler, one of our creamy Pumpkin Old-Fashioneds is the perfect complement to a steaming hot cup of one of Top Pot’s signature gourmet coffees. We blend real pumpkin filling into our trademark hand-forged old-fashioned recipe and top these autumn treats with a nutmeg-infused air-sped glaze.

Our coffee is ground and roasted in our Seattle Downtown, 5th Avenue facility. Make sure to stop by and have a delicious cup of Top Pot Joe to go with your favorite doughnut.

Our coffees:
El Presidente
The rich robust flavor of our medium roast espresso blend is courtesy of four varieties of beans from Mexico, Boliva, Paupa New Guinea and Peru.

Diplomat
This delicious French roast is our best blend for drip coffee, with beans from Ethiopia, Sumatra, Mexico and Brazil.

Swiss Water Decaffeinated Blend
Our decaf is the result of a natural Swiss water process—which relies upon water soaking (rather than harsh chemicals) to naturally decaffeinate the signature blend of Peruvian and Bolivian beans.

Began in February 2002 out of a small brick storefront on north Capitol Hill in Seattle, Top Pot paired a vintage aesthetic with a gourmet spin on the old “coffee and doughnuts” routine.

Soon, in this town known for more than a few coffee shops, some patrons were driving twenty miles or more to the little doughnut shop on Capital Hill where—from the beans to the bookcases—obvious care was paid to every detail. In response to Top Pot’s wild popularity, we have decided to open two more Seattle locations.

In each new neighborhood, a whole new demographic has embraced Top Pot’s unusual blend of striking design, aromatic coffee, and hand-forged doughnuts. Tattooed hipsters, soccer moms, the business elite, and retirees all feel at home here—because everyone loves a great doughnut!
